Lion, City Park, New Orleans, LA.

The City Park Peristyle was built in 1907, and is one of the oldest structures in City Park. The Lions “guard” the Peristyle where stairs lead down to the edge of Bayou Metairie. It is still used for dances, parties and weddings.
