Lafayette Cemetery, No. 1, Uptown New Orleans, LA

The planning of this cemetery began in 1832 in preparation for the creation of #Lafayette City, which would later be known as the #GardenDistrict. It was laid out in a very uniformed manner with four quadrants. Often you will find random items left for the interred instead of the standard flower arrangements. New Orleans is not without it’s charm.
