St Jane De Chantal Church, Abita Springs, La. In 1923 Father Martin Barre erected the new St. Jane’s Church, the first brick church in St. Tammany. Lawrence Flot constructed its ceiling. The cornerstone, dated 1924, was laid by Archbishop Shaw.
