Holy Trinity Church, Daupine Street, New Orleans, LA
On November 12, 1847, Father Masquelet purchased property at the corner of Dauphine and St. Ferdinand streets for $3000. A church was built at that time but met a fiery demise in 1851. Theodore Giraud designed this new church built in 1853, though it’s gone through many changes in its 150+ year life.
