Almost every Saturday starts off with breakfast at a favourite diner, and at every breakfast, Nard has copious amounts of coffee, while I sip on tea.
It's routine, and it's mundane, but both of us look forward to it every week. Our waitress, who knows us by name, never needs to be told what we'd like is probably the reason why the place is a favourite of ours. The food just magically appears in front of us, and our beverages stay full.
So, today being Saturday, we started the day off with breakfast and caffeine, it came as a bit of a surprise to me that I hadn't done a photo around breakfast time and thought today would be the perfect day to do so.
After breakfast Nard and I parted ways, he went to his place while I took off to visit with my folks for a bit.
All in all, it's been a good Saturday.
