Rise Up

Straightaway:
[streyt-uh-wey]
adjective
1. straight onward, without turn or curve, as a racecourse.
noun
2. a straightaway course or part.
adverb
3. immediately; right away.
-----
It was hot today; I think I heard that it's the hottest day of the year... so far. Which sounds a little ominous, as if the temperature will keep rising until we're all forced to walk around with sprinkles or those spritzing fans....
Actually that wouldn't be so bad.
I saw another bunny downtown today, but resisted the urge to have a second bunny shot... although the temptation was real.
Anyway, hope everyone has had a good day.
