After a very mild and sometimes blissful introduction to this winter season, the temperature has finally turned, dipping well below freezing today with those dreading words, wind chill floating around the forecast.

With the frostbite warnings in effect, I layered up and went for my lunch hour walk. It takes a lot to keep me inside the office when I could be out and the cold wasn't going to stand in my way.

It took the majority of the afternoon to thaw out my legs, as I so stupidly forgot my leggings at home and couldn't layer up completely. The rest of me was okay and comfortable while strolling through a new path made by sleds in the woods.

Anyway, hope you all managed to stay warm today!
