Recrudescence:
[ree-kroo-des-uh ns]
noun
1. breaking out afresh or into renewed activity; revival or reappearance in active existence.

First off, apologies for two very similar photos in a row, but only like a half of an apology because I really like this photo.
I'll blame Mother Nature for the repetition in my stream, with fluffy snow and sunlight breaking through, it's hard to resist a trail shot.
I think one of my favourite times in winter is just after a fresh snow fall, when everything is white and crisp.
Snowshoeing or walking through the trails is refreshing and rejuvenating and it's difficult to resist the allure.
There's an alternative photo in the comments, a little different than this one, and a very close runner up for today's photo and if I'd been able to resist the canopy feel of the main image, it would have won out.
Hope everyone has had a good day.
