I spent the majority of today hoping for the sun to burn through the clouds. It didn't happen so I couldn't get the photo I'd originally intended.

 

I had woken up and prepared for the day early to take advantage of the sunrise but that didn't end up happening as the clouds were so dense, so I grabbed my macro adapter and went out to shoot the morning frost.

 

I ended up with three that I liked for today so I decided on a triptych for today.
