golden gate gazing

A nice companion piece to this old number

A highlight of visiting San Fran is definitely renting bikes and heading over the bridge across to Sausalito. Map given by the bike rental company was pretty piss poor though as we got severely lost no thanks to their aloof assurances that it was easy to navigate to Old Mill in Muir Woods..but the lovely people across the Golden Gate bridge assured we got the woods and back in time to catch the evening Ferry to the San Fran waterfront.

A word of warning for potential visitors.. The perpetual fog in San Fan is misleading, the minute one is over the bridge you will get blasted by the Californian sun. Take sun cream. Like a bucket sized tube.
