On Golden Wings

I took this photo July 27, 2022 as the sun was setting. I was much surprised that the wings could still be blurred at 1/1000 shutter speed, but was dazzled by the backlight they caught. It's a broadtail hummingbird ready to get nectar from Russian Sage.
