Old Clothes For New Utensils In The Slums

These are mostly members of the migrant Gujrati community and they take old clothes like sarees jeans etc in exchange for steel or plastic vessels and home utensils...moving around the slums and middle class homes.

Than these old garments are given by these people to wholesale dealers who have them cleaned refurbished dyed in some cases and sold at Chor Bazrar Flea market on Fridays.

There is one lane you will find this community selling the stuff on Duncan Street close to Chor Bazar.

The largest market for old clothes Army surplus woolen stuff is Chimna Butcher a lane in Chor Bazar.
