The Bhaiyya Mumbaikar

He came to Mumbai many years back, sold fruits tadgolas , picked up the nuances of the Marathi ethos and language.

He speaks Marathi fluently and dresses like one too.

All these years I never knew he was a Bhaiyya or North Indian from Uttar Pradesh.

So it all depends on the individual , to be what he wants to be .

I studied Marathi in school but I could not master it , but I love it spoken around me and can converse but not as fluent as I would want too.

I never learnt Urdu written Urdu just the bit that we speak at home.

I learnt French and have not forgotten it though my vocabulary is rusty and my words straight from Dondo.the French grammar bible during my school days.

English I manage if you dont use a magnifying glass to find faults with my grammar and syntax.
