Most of them come from Aligarh or Badayun Sharif , young boys with nimble hands accompanied by their old senior Gurus ..with a foldable stool they sit outside Moti Katla the abode of the Hijras of Ajmer .
And they are a great relief for tired legs feet , aching bones , in my case as I walk barefeet , my hijra friends suggested I take a feet and head massage ,,most of them treat me with a lot of respect and earlier they thought I was a pesky photographer but now ever since I became a Malang their attitude change , and now they dont curse and abuse me as they do to other photographers .
And I have been shooting them for a considerable time now .
Well where there are Hijras the malishwalas are not very far , they come here make good money as the dancing and the hectic life of the hijras demands holistic relief.
Than there are the Bhais from Mumbai , after the chillum shots they too make use of the services of the Malishwalas ..who work from night till the wee hours in the morning in the tiny dark lamp lit backlanes of Ajmer Sharif.
The Malishwalas , the herbal desi Viagra sellers , the dhapliwalas all part of Dargah and Urus culture of Ajmer Sharif.
