Peranakan Beaded Shoes #1, Singapore

I drawn & painted most of this piece on-location at True Blue restaurant. This traditional pair of slipper is worn by Peranakan ladies (nonya) and hundreds goes into beading it. Tiny glass beads of many colours are used to create the intricate patterns.
