Week 26 in 52 Weeks for Dogs
I've seen this idea used on a few photos on Flickr and decided to give it a try. Downloaded the action free from Panos. I discovered the magic extraction tool in PS Elements which took away the background (leaving it transparent) from the photo of Tasku. Then I tried running the action, which should have been really easy, but unfortunately it got so far and then Elements crashed - tried a couple more times with the same thing happening and then had to resort to adding my photo to the bulb then doing a bit of erasing with a layer mask plus some cloning, and worked out how to add the reflection, which I did in MS Digital Image but back to Elements for a few final adjustments to levels / brightness on the reflection, which I removed from the main part of the picture.
The result isn't perfect, but I do like it.
