Choshukaku

The building in Sankeien Gaden (Yokohama JAPAN).

The thing which Iemitsu Tokugawa made built in Kyoto Nijo Castle

is reconstructed in 1623.

Having given Kasuganotsubone behind is transmitted

in many-storied building construction with the second small floor.

Although it is shoin-zukuri, symmetry is avoided very much

to a degree and there is effect as a tea-ceremony room.

 

三溪園にある建造物。

1623年に徳川家光が、京都二条城内に建てさせたものを移築しました。

小さな2階がついた楼閣建築で、後に春日局に与えたと伝えられています。

書院造りですが、左右対称を極度に避け、茶室としての趣があります。
