The identity of each of the historic landmarks is expressed by a symbol, designed in accordance with the the chosen typographic font – Designed by Portuguese printer Mario Feliciano – this font shares the specific design and proportions of the fonts used to carve in stone.
The National Regal Pantheon’s status of the Monastery of Santa Cruz de Coimbra is presented by a crowned cross.
The iconographic representation of a column’s capital, references the Old Cathedral of Coimbra as holder of the largest Romanesque capitals collection in Portugal.
