VDNKh station from novel Metro 2033 .
In late 2013, a nuclear war occurred. Russia was targeted with atomic bombs, causing severe radiation across Moscow, forcing the rest of the people to live underground in the metro stations away from the deadly effects of radiation.
The protagonist of the novel is a 21-year old man named Artyom who was born before the nuclear holocaust that occurred in 2013. I have made Artyoms home station, VDNKh.
