The football dressing rooms were opened in 2012, by Glasgow-born former Leeds United and Scotland winger Eddie Gray MBE. The plan was to add a second storey of facilities for the cricketers, only for the money to run out (as it were).
Formed in 1968, initially to play in the Harrogate & District Football League, Pool are members of the West Yorkshire Football League's Premier Division, step seven in the non-league pyramid.
