Simpson Salute
The main stand - dedicated to Bob Simpson - at Homestead Road, Thringstone, home to Ingles Football Club.
Captured during a 1-2 defeat for Ingles by Division rivals Nuneaton Griff, who recovered from conceding an early goal to score twice in as many minutes shortly before half-time.
After eight years sharing with neighbours Shepshed Dynamo FC, Ingles, founded at Shepshed in 1972, relocated to Thringstone Miners Social Centre ahead of the 2022-23 Midland Football League season.
A great deal of work, including widening the pitch, erecting pitch barriers and restoring the floodlights, has been done by volunteers, to ensure the ground meets required standards.
