Left In The Dark

Sutton Rovers 2007 (light blue) and Kiveton Miners Welfare players prepare to take the field at Dunscroft Welfare, ahead of a Premier Division North fixture in the Central Midlands League.

They are awaiting the referee, who had lost a contact lens. It led to an eight-minute kick-off delay - not helpful in December at a ground lacking functional floodlights!

Rovers won 2-1, thereby registering a first victory since the end of September.
