Sub pro Sachithra Serasinghe, a Sri Lankan, then hit 72 (off 66 balls) in adding 91 for the sixth wicket with Jack Doyle (56). Doyle and Tom Gibson (25 not out) put on 49 for the seventh wicket. Prestwich completed their 50 overs in scoring 278-7. Matt Wilkes took 4-73, Steven Cheetham 2-57.
Losing Adam Holt for a duck in the first over of the reply set the tone for Clifton's embarrassing innings. They were dismissed for just 68 in 24.4 overs.
