If only it were as easy as the picture implies.
This was an accidental thing. I hadn't intended to upgrade to a non-jailbreaked iOS, but it happened, and I ended up spending the next twelve hours or so researching, attempting and finally succeeding at a jailbreak/unlock for my 3Gs. Thank you, sn0wbreeze!
