The Úz Valley in Transylvania is Central-Europe’s most mysterious geographical and ethnographical region and covered with dense pine forests.
Csinód is populated by a mere 100 families of Hungarian nationality. The local people live a natural way of life at these mountain farms. Electricity was introduced only in 2000 and the modernization of the forest road leading to Csinód and a few other villages, started only recently.
