DB 184 112 was built by Krupp/BBC in 1967 and approved for service at the end of august a year later. In december 1982, the engine visited Opladen and stayed at the workshops for repairs until the engine was withdrawn in June 1983. Since may 1987, the loc is on display at a museum in Berlin.
