It was 4 months after this writer was born when my father and my mother attended the first family reunion with her elder half sister Alfreda Timba Kaamiño at Iligan, Lanao del Norte in December 1937. This occasion was recorded with a lone photo we kept to this day. This writer was in the arms of his mother Pelagia Radaza Bagas who posed for a photo with Restituta Kaamiño Adormeo, eldest 16 years old daughter of my father's sister Alfreda Timba Kaamiño and Restituta's younger siblings Rosalina and Bonifacio "Nonoy" Kaamiño Adormeo. . .
On May 29, 2005, the 3rd Kaamiño reunion was held at Tangub City. This writer, my two children, W. Antonio and Wilfredo, Jr together with my nephew, Tristan Kaamiño Ares were in attendance for the first time.
Among the subjects discussed was how to provide a communication system between relatives in the sharing of data and information needed by immediate and blood relatives wanting to build their respective family tree. It is hoped that this will be presented during the succeeding reunions. . .
