light painting

a dark field, some lighting gear, some colored light emitting children's toys equal a lot of fun...

 

The goal here was 'fun', specifically to let people play around with this setup and see what kind of results they could get... I was shooting tethered so that people could see what was being captured on a near real-time basis. Click Here to see the rest of the images from this 'light painting' set.

 

Took folks a few min of getting me talked out from behind the camera, after this shot I quickly scattered back behind the technical gear.

Technical Details: See the links above for photos and in depth descriptions. Essentially it's off camera lighting wirelessly triggered from the camera with 'Pocket Wizards', with the shutter being held open for a long time.
