Iguana Fighting over Territory-that belongs to neither of them.
Hello everyone ..I have been missing everyone on flickr and thought I'd post a photo and catch up with everyone.
I saw this iguana fight this spring. I thought it was interesting because I have never seen them fight before. Mate-yes. Fight-no. It occurred to me that neither of them should have the rights to this territory. They are an invasive species. Yet here they are fighting over territory that should not belong to either of them.
I spent most of the time making video of the fight, but stopped recording a few times to take photos. Someday I may post the video. I don't really know how to process video But, its interesting to see how they fight.
