Saksun - Faroe Islands
'Saksun is a picturesque village in the bottom of what was once an inlet surrounded by high mountains. The inlet formed a deep and good natural harbour. However a storm blocked the inlet with sand. The river that used to run into the inlet now formed a fresh-water lake in the former inlet. Duvugardur is a farm from the 17th century. It is now a museum where visitors can see how Faeroese people lived in those days'. (Faroeislands.dk)
