The back detail

I like the colours of knitting yarn i used, because they all had a mixture of grainy blues in different combinations/amounts(the colours were inspired by a picture i took of a granite wall behind the rusty old beach chain).The back i created by free embroiding an applique chain design (from my observations) and then in and around sewing freely to create a mesh and a type of fractured lace that doesn't have as many connections as the knit part of the piece. I did this all on a special dissolveable plastic.
