Glinka Pass Open Border
Disused Slovak border post on Przełęcz Glinka (Glinka Pass), a mountain pass through the Carpathians, elevation 845 m, at the road crossing the border. The green truck in the background is already in Poland.
On 21 December 2007 the control booths were left by border guards under the Schengen Agreement, allowing for free passage.
The author is concerned that the barriers, border guards and customs officers may yet return.
