When the sky is clear, this is the view that we can see over Torino, the biggest city of the Piedmont region in the north of Italy, near the Alps.
The name Piedmont comes from medieval Latin Pedemontium or Pedemontis, meaning “at the foot of the mountains”...I think that this is the rightest name for a place with this panorama!
