Site Progress – National Surgical Innovation Centre for Bowel and Cancer Research
13/02/12 - Work continues on site on the first floor of the Abernathy Building at Queen Mary University of London, to create a new Surgical Innovation Centre. The new centre, the first of its kind, is a joint venture between Bowel and Cancer Research, Queen Mary University of London and Barts and the London NHS Trust. The space provides a centralised multi-disciplinary research environment, encompassing state of the art laboratory space. It brings together scientists, academics, surgeons and commercial participators to deliver research and innovation for the benefit of patients in the area of digestive diseases. Fraser Brown MacKenna Architects have been novated to Hutton Construction under a Design & Build Contract.
