"Checking out my Larger and Lime!" A really, really big walk!
This was going to be a challenge, a walk of many miles to check to see if all the fettling about to my spine over the past few months had worked. With so much in the pipeline needing a stout back I needed to see if it will be up to the job! So, bus into Canterbury and then a walk up St Thomas' Hill and onto the Crab and Winkle Line to Whitstable. Once in Whitstable a quick stop in the harbour and then a transfer onto the National Coastal Footpath to Seasalter and then via the comically names "Solar Way" through the building site that was Cleve Hill and back to Faversham.
With a combined distance of 19 miles on a perfect walking day, slightly overcast, very light wind, 14 degrees and with a full daypack we shall see if all is good. Sorry, lots of photos on the way but would be rude not too!
