Went up to the Downs this morning to meet a man about a Monkey. I learnt more about the Monkey Orchid in 40 minutes than I have over the past 20 years. A monkey Orchid undergoing detailed time lapse analysis of flower opening compared over time and with Man and Lady Orchids and research into pollinating species and strategies all of which will help in the conservation of this beautiful, rare and endangered wild British orchid, fascinating.
