Thornden Woods

Its been a bit wet of late! Kent woodland around East Kent is commonly water logged in the winter. Situated on clay capped hills many woodland stream drain into rivers such as the Sarre Penn. The trees that thrive reflect the conditions so silver birch, alder, goat willow and standard oaks predominate.
