Next stop, Wye Downs and the Devils Kneading Trough

From the brilliant Park Woods at Challock its off to the Wye Downs with endless views and beautiful vistas. Still raining and a little breezy up ontop of the Downs but the air was fresh. This particular area was used by the army to test tanks and artilliary where a sign on the gate warns vivistors that un-exploded bombs and shell can still be found! Hay-ho and off we go!

Described as the best view in Kent, not arguing but just along the road Postling and near me Boughton Valley are just as good but for open sky's and green field, not too shoddy. What made the view was a Spitfire and Hurricane flying wingtip to wingtip over the Kent Downs with the exquisite sounds of two perfectly in tune Merlins!!!!
