That moment when...

Out and about in the dark in an abandoned factory which has this epic kiln with it's textures all over the place. It turns out the "behind the scenes" shot was better than some of the others I captured.

 

This shot involved placing a Godox AD200 flashgun at the rear of the frame with no gels in this case. I threw a smoke pellet to the rear to provide a little atmosphere to the shot and fired the flash just once. With the camera still going on "bulb" mode I waved a flashlight with a lightpaintingbrushes.com colour filter hood from behind the camera to light up all the darker, unexposed parts of the frame.
