East Buxton Lime Kiln

A popular "go to" location for me and especially @fadetoblack is East Buxton Lime Kiln in the Derbyshire Peak District. It's been a saviour for us when raining outside as it often does in the Peak District but tonight it was dry.

For this shot I positioned a Godox AD200 flashgun low down within each section and fired remotely. The colour gels on the flash were arranged in to four segments using my home made "quadrablaster" gadget. Once the flash was fired, I carefully made way out of the kiln in the dark to light up the front of this structure with a Convoy S2 plus flashlight, a cheap little Chinese made torch which is really quite powerful for it's size.
