Myciculture to improve food security and nutrition

Women on Rusovu Hill, in Kayogoro Commune, Makamba Province (southern Burundi). In Burundi, FAO is promoting myciculture to improve food security and nutrition. This project supports the improvement of resilience capacities for vulnerable populations most affected by the effects of the multifactor crisis in Burundi (OSRO / BDI / 502 / EC) and is implemented by FAO and funded by the European Union.
