Crop assessment conducted in the Kyrgyz Republic 2
1/08/14 – FAO Food Security Information System project staff joint the Ministry of agriculture and melioration of the Kyrgyz Republic, National Statistics Committee, local authorities, agronomists and FAO mission from HQ in Rome for the crop assessment in the Kyrgyz Republic. Due to drought similar to 1995, 2008 and 2012 it is expected less crop in 2014 than ever so the FAO crop assessment report will be presented to the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic for decision making in food security.
