Aftermath of Irene

The streets of New York City on Sunday morning were strewn with torn branches, fallen trees and large puddles formed in some low-lying areas, but tropical storm Irene did not come close to wreaking the havoc many throughout the week had feared it might. We are now in the relative calm after the storm.
