Salvador. 312-366

I had a cracking night out with my mate Paul tonight. Not seen each other for ages so it was nice to catch up over some light waving.

I did this shot in photoshop earlier in this 366 and have wanted to do it in camera ever since. There are no white walls anywhere nearby so I had to rig a bed sheet up across two light stands. The sheet was lit from behind by a flashgun on full power. The outer silhouette was shot at F4 on the Samyang 50mm. Lens cap on and moved to tripod 2 inside the tunnel. Took the Sammy of mid-exposure and swapped it for the Tokina 11/16mm. This was pre-set at F7.1 and focused to infinity. Removed the lens cap and made my way up the tunnel in the darkness. Went behind Paul and lit him with my big torch gelled Lenor gold. Net curtain to highlight the inner silhouette gelled jaffa cake orange.

I would have preferred a leading shadow but I'd run out of steam so here you are.

This is number 312 of my 366.
