Parka Urbex. 22-366
An evening in my favourite tunnel in the Peak District with Chris and Rich to realise this idea which was bouncing round my head all day.
First job was to frame, expose and focus for the silhouette part. Once happy I moved onto the foreground Parka man.
This was lit with the beauty dish socked and skirted but I couldn't for the life of me decrease the amount of light hitting my face which needed to be black. I took off my black fleece and wrapped it round my head which worked a treat but looked a little odd.
Once happy with everything we all took up positions, torches off and fired the shutter with my trusty Triggertrap. Rich holding the beauty dish about a foot above the camera on 1/8 power through the dish and Chris with the remote to fire it. I stood still and Chris lit the wire wool in the drill and span that for the orange outer. Once done the lens cap went on and I zoomed out to 11mm and refocused. Rich took up position as the silhouette and Chris on his massive torch behind Rich. Lens cap off and let the torch burn in for 15 seconds gelled blue/purple.
Job done.
A great night as ever in top company. Cheers lads.
