Rust Man. 267/365
Iron man found himself at rock bottom. Down to his last bottle of warm Bud which he struggles to open with his broken Repulsor. Remnants of the egg sandwich he ate earlier slowly drying to a crust on his 2 sizes too small vest which clings to his belly where a six pack could once be found. Too tired to eat, too hungry to fall asleep.
Thanks to Tim M for the idea here from his comment on my CRT Man shot earlier in my 365.
I tried to replicate the shot of Robert Downey Jnr in as Iron Man wearing his vest, with his hand out and repulse glowing but it looked naff. Decided to head down the humour route instead and re-create the shot after Iron Man had fallen from grace.
Framed and focused for me and worked on the lighting. Next moved the tripod to sort out the alignment for the camera rotation part.
Egg on my old vest from when it fitted me properly, made a fake spliff and fired the shutter. Flash fired through skirted beauty dish on 1/2 power camera left level with the lens and cap on.
Placed the Repulsor hand on the table and moved the tripod. Triggered the blue disk and lens cap off. Cap back on and repeated every 45 degrees. Job done.
Long exposure, camera rotation light painting photograph. sooc-ish
