My 2008 Favourites- A Small Pile of Meh...

A failure of a year for me, possibly one of the most depressing too (well, top five anyway).
Not happy with the photographs either, but here are some I liked. Not saying they're great, just I liked them. They amuse me moderately. This year I've taken a lot of crap photos, a couple of okay ones and nothing really significant. If 2009/10 don't show some improvement I might as well give up. I'll be good (not great) one day, any idiot can take good photographs and by God I'll be that idiot!

The most significant thing I did was scan old negatives, what remained of my Grandmothers and Great-Aunts images. They're ready to bin the lot! Also how many negatives I'd lost and how my ancient K1000 and borrowed Olympus OM10 negatives are better than photos I'm taking now! I've regressed! It's going to be several years before I'm slightly happy with the photographs I take. So several more years of mediocre crap then... Hurray!
