I like the Instax for its artlessness, it's only barely functional as a camera. It's a copy of a Polaroid, its only improvement is the removal of batteries from the film cartridge. It has no useful viewfinder, it's crude fixed focus and minimal controls, the flash is weak, the film quality is poor, it's huge and cumbersome. It lacks the retro appeal of square images of Holgas or Polaroids. Even a pinhole camera gives better results. It's a remarkably bad camera, yet I quite liked it. The Instax 200 looks like even worse design, not better. Although I'd love an Instax 500AF...That or a Leica M8, I'm not choosy...
