"FLORAMETAPHORICAL"
I don't know if there is a world like "florametaphorical" -- but there is now!😁
I got the hungries one night and went down to Jakeeno's a local place in the neighborhood. Great spot that has excellent Italian food at reasonable prices.
On the way out I saw these sunflowers almost "glowing" in the public garden of "Sisters Camelot" It was an eerie light that reflected off the petals. I had my little street gear and took a long, hand held exposure to get the effect I wanted. It took several tries. I know with color films, long exposures with certain films usually resulted in a color shift. I like the effect then, but can't duplicate it with digital. So one develops other techniques.
When I came to title it, I was thinking of some Jungian sounding name That was because as I looked at the exposures, I thought of several narratives that the flowerrs, colors, space, was a Jungian metaphor/archetypes for something in our lives. The title was too long to get the idea across. Plus, there were many narratives possible . . . the flowers were a metaphor for so many possibilities . . .Hence, "Florametaphorical" I'm sure there could be "Faunametaphorical" if animals are used.😎
