Heard about this place whilst up in Moab. A beautiful waterfall hemmed into a canyon, it made for a welcome sight and some waterfall photography wasn’t what i had immediately had in mind from the desert Southwest.
I’d have liked to get a shot of the falls face on and filled the bottom of the frame solely with the veils of water, as I’m not mad keen with the rock at the edge of the bottom left of the frame. But, … alas I’m ankle deep in the river, and on the edge of the tier of the falls. An inch back, i’d have plummeted off the 30ft down into the splash-pool below :)
If the rains hadn’t been so heavy of late, i think i’d have been able to stand more to the left, but the current was stong and getting traction on the sandstone bed of the river wasn’t easy.
